GC-C ^−/− mice have an increased load of C. rodentium compared to GC-C ^+/+ but are still able to clear the infection. A: Increasing numbers of C. rodentium were detected in stool from GC-C^−/− mice such that by day 10 there were significantly greater numbers of C. rodentium present relative to GC-C^+/+. Note that both genotypes were able to clear the infection by day 20. Each time point consisted of groups of 3–26 mice. Solid line represents median value.
