When compared with model control, corilagin had a significantly decreasing effect on total bilirubin and direct bilirubin (P<0.01). At 24h, the effect of corilagin on total bilirubin and direct bilirubin was superior to that of UDCA but inferior to that of dexamethasone, while at 48h corilagin was the most effective agent (P<0.01) but at 72h the three agents had notable effect on total bilirubin and direct bilirubin level (P<0.01) . UDCA showed an effect on 72h and dexamethasone was found to have an effect on 24h and 72h on total bilirubin and direct bilirubin level (P<0.01).
