From: Follow-up colonoscopy after an abnormal stool-based colorectal cancer screening result: analysis of steps in the colonoscopy completion process

Number and proportion of patients that received each step in the colonoscopy completion process within 12 months of an abnormal fecal immunochemical test (FIT) result. Of 711 patients who received an abnormal FIT result, 90% were referred to gastroenterology, 51% attended a pre-procedure visit with a gastroenterologist, and 43% completed a colonoscopy within 12 months.
