Pearson’s and Spearman’s correlations were performed between the following studied parameters: liver function tests, SDF-1α in the liver and bone marrow, level gradients between SDF-1α in the liver and bone marrow, liver fibrosis percentage, CXCR4 receptor expression in the liver, and CD34 + cells in the blood and liver (Table 5)
